When your surroundings are strong, you can be stronger. It is a simple yet powerful message that you can find processing in your mind when you are scrolling the tall walls and stable structures in Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. These monuments are located in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. Although the Taj Mahal is the epitome of structural engineering, there is something called love which is the foundation of this beautiful masterpiece. It makes it stronger enough to resist all kinds of loads apart from perfect planning and non-computer-aided design. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is the governing body to protect and preserve these historical structures. The Agra Fort and Taj Mahal still stand strong due to resonating as the monument of stability, planning and love.

Stability

According to UNESCO, the Agra Fort is a world heritage site. It is located nearby the Taj Mahal since the sixteenth century as a Mughal work of construction known as Agra Fort with a sparkling red structure. The long walls surround this beautiful place in the space of 2.5 kilometers. With importing materials from all over the world, a new era started in India to shape the historical structure. During the times of emperors, the process of logistics was not compromised. There was no barrier to shipment and delivery, which is one idea still being used today. The various places within Agra Fort resonate with their own stories from the Mughal times that you should hear by yourself with the help of the travel guides or read out for yourself about the courageous rulers.

The Construction of the Taj Mahal began with around 20,000 workers, with the expert of each profession finally completing it, which took around 22 years. The workers were also from Syria, Bukhara, Persia, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Malwa etc. The major architect was Ustad Ahmad Lahori. The stability of the Taj Mahal is remarkable and apart from white marble, the red bricks are laid out. The white marble was formulated in Makrana, which is located in the southwest part of Jaipur.

Planning

Not only architectural but safety point of views are also reflected in the design of Agra Fort. The creative textures and colours are all visible, making you mentally stay there when you are there. The layers of gold and silver are also visible on the structures inside Agra Fort. The wide space is enough to allow many visitors at once. While worldwide visitors still visit Agra Fort, the technology of scanning QR code has made them avoid the long queues for booking a ticket for one or more than one person.

The Indo-Islamic architectural value is given to the Taj Mahal due to the planning of both void and solid structures. The aesthetic value is added by the lotus shape of the dome with convex and concave shadows. The pair of colours, such as green gardens, white marble, blue sky and reddish walls, is attractive to make you get involved there when you are navigating the Taj Mahal. Since images of animals and human bodies are not allowed in Islamic art, the floral pattern is visible on the walls of the Taj Mahal, which required highly skilled workers. Also, the inscriptions of Calligraphy are visible over the walls of the Taj Mahal.

The spread of pollution is not permitted around Agra Fort and Taj Mahal as the use of coke and coal got banned in the industries by the Supreme Court (SC) of India in 1996. When you are planning to visit the Taj Mahal, keep in mind that on Fridays Taj Mahal is closed due to allowing prayers to occur. Only government officials and permitted people are allowed on Friday.

Love

Taj Mahal is built from white marble, which is what you have already heard and seen. The time period from 1631-1648 was consumed after the decision of the emperor in Mughal times (Shah Jahan) to keep the memory of his beloved wife (Mumtaz Mahal) alive. This background story invites people from all over the world to witness the beauty of the Taj Mahal. The commitment to love is reflected in the decision to complete the development of the Taj Mahal. Love is the foundation of the Taj Mahal, which can be felt when you are scrolling this massive piece of art with your own eyes rather than the Internet.

Bottom Line

You should definitely visit Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal to feel these monuments from the angle of stability, planning and love. The inspiration to turn mere ideas into reality can be your energy to do better in whatever you are continuing or thinking to start.
